James Stephens Branch of ONE will officially open their Veteran Support Centre (VSC) as part of the 3rd Infantry Battalion Centenary celebrations on Friday 27th January in James Stephens Barracks, Kilkenny. It is also planned to bless the new Branch Colours at this event.

Timings are as follows:

1400hrs – Parade and presentation of new colours.

1430hrs – March Past with GOC 1 Bde.

1500hrs – Opening of new ONE Veteran Support Centre

1515hrs – Visit to new 3 Inf Bn Museum – 100 years of Unit History.

1530hrs – Refreshments and cake cutting in the Dining Centre.

1530hrs onwards – Oral History Project, Museum visits, refreshments.

1900hrs – Music in the Privates’ Mess.

All Mess facilities will be open for the evening and we encourage guests to stay and interact with serving and retired members of the unit.
