Professional Bus Driver Training Programme. Full-Time, Part-Time & Seasonal Vacancies

We have:

Full-time positions in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Athlone and Drogheda.

Part-time positions are available in Cork, Waterford, Limerick, Galway and Dundalk.

For these positions you will need:

  • A full, clean, Class D. Irish driver’s licence
  • A digital tachograph card
  • A driver CPC (certificate of professional competence) for public service vehicle drivers
  • Strong customer service skills
  • An enthusiastic attitude

For those without the D Licence:

We also have a Professional Bus Driver Training Programme in Cork and Limerick. The minimum requirement is a car licence. Initial training will be provided as well as on-going training and development when you join our team.

What We Offer

We recruit the best and in return, we offer a competitive benefits package that is mindful of you and your family. Drivers basic pay is €731.30 based on a 39-hour week typically working five over seven days, and €18.75 per hour for part-time contracts.

A guaranteed minimum of 18 hours per week over Saturday and Sunday, overtime may also be available to supplement your earnings. When you start with us, you will receive our professional driver uniform. Our driver training is varied and includes the following:

  • Vehicle and route familiarisation
  • Wayfarer ticket machine and ticketing procedures
  • Automatic vehicle location
  • Accident and breakdown procedures
  • Periodic CPC training
  • Health and Safety
  • Customer care
  • Manual handling
  • Defensive driving and eco-driving techniques
