Ger O’Brien served as an officer in the Defence Forces from 1994 to 2016.  Ger now runs his family campervan hire business; Camperhire4u Ltd.  Camperhire4u is located on the old Concession Road on the Armagh/Monaghan border.

As can be imagined, business has not been easy over the past twelve months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.  Despite this, Ger recently ran a competition and due to its success he was able to donate a total sum of €3,500 for distribution between three charities, one of which was ONE. Ger presented €1500 of this total to the Sleeping Flags Appeal (www.one-veterans.org).  This donation will be used to support the Brú na bhFiann home for homeless veterans.

In Ger’s own words, Camperhire4u Ltd is the newest camper hire company on the island of Ireland, situated only a 15-minute drive off the M1 motorway on Armagh/Monaghan border. We are only an hour from the major airport hubs of Belfast and Dublin. Whether its exploring the Irelands Ancient East, The Causeway Coast or the Wild Atlantic Way, we have the vehicle for you. All of our motorhomes are new or nearly new and maintained to the highest standards because we firmly believe in camping luxury for everyone! www.camperhire4u.com
