16th of January is known as Blue Monday

“Hello All Stations, All Stations, This is Ø, Radio Check Over”

Today, the 16th of January is known as ‘Blue Monday’ – to some, it can be the most depressing day of the year to others it’s just another Monday.

If you need help, assistance or advice reach out to a friend, family or buddy – turn Blue Monday to Your Monday and call a friend.

If you need to speak to someone for your health and well-being, ONE employs two Veteran Support Officers to develop a counselling service for veterans in partnership with the HSE. They can be contacted through – Head Office: Steven Shields, 086 138 0825, or email: HQVSO@oneconnect.ie

The Irish Mental Health Commission have a page of information and contact details for mental health services in Ireland: www.mhcirl.ie/help-and-advice/urgent-help-and-support

ONE’s services are available to all veterans of the Irish Defence Forces and we also facilitate homeless veterans from other countries living in Ireland from time to time. ONE provides accommodation to veterans, who otherwise would be homeless, and has also created a nationwide network of Veteran’s Support Centres which provide various support services and access to resources. https://www.one-veterans.org/services/
